The Squire's Tale

I hope everyone has picked up a copy of our next book, The Squire's Tale, by Gerald Morris. If you havent, I have copies set aside behind the children's reference desk for you to pick up. This book comes highly reccommended to me by an expert in Children's literature, and it has a lot of things I look for in a good read: humor, knights, wizards, magic, and heroism. I can't wait to talk to you guys about it next month!

Welcome to Guys Read!

Hi there, and welcome to Guys Read blog for the Princeton Public Library. I'm Tom Hammel from the youth services department at the Princeton Public Library, and Guys Read is a monthly book discussion group for boys ages 8-10 and their dad, grandads, or any male adult they want to bring. Each month we read an age appropriate book, then get together for 30-45 minutes on a Tuesday evening to talk about it, if we liked it, why we liked it, what we didint like, etc. There are no right or worng answers, inly interesting opinions! I will use this blog to keep you all appraised of great books for boys and other interesting things. Thanks for stopping by!
